    Job Description:


    As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to automate processes, improve system reliability, and enhance deployment efficiency.

    Our client was founded in 2006, and is a leading provider of web-based pension administration software solutions to public employee pension funds. They have more than 140 customers in 25 states and prides itself on the deep roots that its employees have within the public employee pension community.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, implement, and maintain Azure-based infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates or Terraform.
    • Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOp.
    • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting.
    • Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and security.
    • Maintain system documentation and develop best practices for DevOps processes.
    • Participate in on-call support rotations and incident response.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or 3 - 5 years of relevant experience.
    • Proven experience in a DevOps (Azure) role involving the creation of successful and efficient DevOps processes for a brand new product.
    • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, and Batch Compute.
    • Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
