    Digonex is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to own the architecture, deployment, provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance of our Azure cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with our software development, data, and economist teams to ensure that the infrastructure meets all business and technical requirements. Additionally, the DevOps Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the security of the environment and managing costs to maintain an appropriate spend profile for our workloads.

Our technology is the result of almost two decades of research and development in pricing science. Our team of PhD economists utilizes dozens of variables to develop an automated and customized pricing solution for each client to accelerate revenue growth and achieve other critical strategic objectives.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure.
    • Provision and manage resources to support business and technical requirements.
    • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
    • Collaborate with software development, data, and economist teams to align infrastructure with project needs.
    • Implement and manage security measures to protect the environment.
    • Optimize infrastructure costs and maintain an appropriate spend profile.
    • Automate deployment and provisioning processes.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies and best practices.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
    • Extensive experience with Azure cloud infrastructure.
    • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, deployment, and provisioning.
    • Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates).
    • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
    • Knowledge of security best practices and tools.
    • Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Experience in cost management and optimization for cloud environments.
    • Certification in Azure (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) is a plus.

    Additional details:

    • While Digonex is based in Indianapolis, Indiana, we currently operate as a hybrid virtual company. We have office space in downtown Indianapolis but many of our employees work remotely either part- or full-time
    • As such, we are interested in speaking with any qualified candidate living in the United States. (Candidates in the Indianapolis, IN area are welcome, but not required, to work from our office)
    • For employees working remotely, occasional travel to Indianapolis may be required for internal meetings (travel expenses paid by the company), approximately two to four times per year.
