    The Development Coordinator serves and is responsible for leading donor programs including events and other elements that support the annual fund. Contribute to overall team effort in planning and development and share in the decision-making process, implementing and promoting all decisions in a spirit of cooperation. Lead tours of the Rescue Mission as assigned.

    Reports to: Director of Development & Communication

    Hours of Availability:

    Full-Time (hourly)

    Monday – Friday, hours range between 8am – 6:00pm with hours adjusted to meet the needs of the role. Evenings, holidays and weekends as scheduled

    Compensation: Starting at $15.00

    Demonstrated attention to detail/strong organizational skills to assist with multiple daily assignments and special projects.

    Job Specific Qualifications:

    Minimum of two (2) years in fundraising, development, etc. preferred

    Strong organizational and time-management skills.

    Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and Google Workspace

    Knowledge of social media platforms and social media advertising and community engagement a plus

    Knowledge of local philanthropic community a plus

    Demonstrated ability to work in multiple data management systems

    Excellent writing, editing, analysis, verbal, and interpersonal skills; strong attention to detail and accuracy

    Ability to work collaboratively across the organization to successfully garner information and input

    Deadline-driven and able to manage multiple tasks.

    Experience in event planning and execution.

    Career Summary (not all-inclusive list):

    The Development Coordinator provides support to the development and communications team as well as other departments. Manage the donor relationship and stewardship responsibilities for multiple types of donors. Active engagement in overseeing all department led pre/post-event activities, logistics and administrative duties, to include data entry, creating/delivering reports, revenue amounts and debriefs for enhancement of future events. Proficient in all platforms once trained. Collaboration with other departments to ensure accurate information sharing.

    All team members may be asked to complete other duties as assigned by leadership/management with an expectation to complete these assignments as requested.
