No Sales experience required! We will teach you everything you need to know! This is a door-to-door sales job! Before you roll your eyes and keep scrolling for other opportunities, you might want to hear us out! We have helped hundreds of reps make $25,000+ in a four-month period, selling pest control door to door at Dewey Pest Control. Many of these individuals had 0 door-knocking or sales experience.

This past summer our average sales representative made $37,000 in a four-month period (May-August). Most of our reps were ages 16-30 years old.

This job is not for everyone. You have to be willing to work in the heat, be ok with rejection, and have a teachable attitude. Reps that aren’t afraid of hard work, and rejection, will be the best candidates for this job.

If you are teachable, you will succeed at this job. We provide you with a mentor that has made over $50,000 in a four-month period working this job. He will show you everything you need to know, do, and say in order to be successful at this job.

What we are looking for:

Candidates that are Humble and teachable

Candidates that are willing to study, train, and work with their team leaders/ mentors on becoming better sales representatives daily.

Candidates who are not afraid of rejection.

Responsibilities:

Attend team meetings in person (2:30-3:00 Monday- Friday)

Knock on 100-120 Doors in your assigned sales area (Monday- Saturday)

Deliver a memorized approach to potential prospects

Qualify each prospect to discover what pests they have been seeing

Explain how Dewey Pest Control can take care of the noticed pests around their home.

Is this a year-round job?

It definitely can be. Most of our employees are college students and do this as a summer job during their summer break. If you want to continue working the job after August you totally can. We have lots of sales reps that work this job year-round.

Is this an hourly wage job?

This is not an hourly waged job, it is 100% commissioned based. However, if you break down our rep's hourly wage this past summer (May-August) our reps averaged $63 an hour. If you follow our process and do everything we teach you to do, you can average this per hour as well. We've helped many reps accomplish this, and we know if you have a teachable attitude and a good work ethic you can be making $63 an hour, or more. Our reps work 6 hours a day and on average made $378 a day!
