    Job Description

    REPORTS TO:              VP of Operations

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This position reports directly to the VP of Operations and is responsible for managing large-scale construction projects, working in conjunction with sales, operations, purchasing, field, safety, and customers, as necessary. 

    Specific duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Oversee multiple large-scale construction projects during project planning, construction, and post-construction. Prepare and package documents such as schedules, logistical plans, and contractual obligation milestones for future scopes of work, including deliveries, load outs, material ordering, custom fabrication, and rental agreements. Project & engineering coordination with the company’s strategic engineering partner and in-house estimating team.  Establish project responsibility for field and project management teams.  Manage quality control, quality assurance, risk, scope creep, non-compliance, and communications between the many internal and external parties involved.   Manage change order, cost estimating, lead cost negotiation, and determine schedule impacts. Oversee project cash flow/job cost and help mitigate any potential issues. Act as a facilitator for the Operations team as they discharge the company’s scope of work to the field.  Manage subcontractors, as necessary, to ensure that their obligations are in line with the company’s obligations. Work closely with operations, scheduling, purchasing, field teams, attend drop tests, provide inspection coordination.  Project forecast and scheduling reviews with staff and client.  Keep Account Executives apprised of issues and happenings on the jobsite and ensure that they are present when critical items arise.

    QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience preferred PMP Preferred At least three (3) years’ experience in a Project Management or related role in the Construction/Engineering industry. Advanced user of project management software, CRM’s, bid software, excel, email, and other job-related software and technology.  Proficiency in verbal and written English required. Driver’s License and own car required.
