    Job Description

    This Position is Contingent on Contract Award.

    This position is in support of a proposed repatriation initiative. The purpose of the facilities is to provide comprehensive care for migrant individuals who are awaiting reunification or repatriation. This care will begin as soon as each occupant arrives at the facility and will last until their arranged departure. The comprehensive care includes but is not limited to initial screening and exams, identifications of prior conditions and allergies, day to day care of routine, urgent and emergency medical conditions.

    International SOS is looking for an individual who is an experienced Diagnostic Radiologic Technician to operate imaging equipment such as X-ray, MRI, and CT machines to create images of patients' internal structures for medical diagnosis. They ensure the quality and safety of images by providing compassionate care and maintaining patient comfort during procedures.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Use X-ray, MRI machines to capture high quality images of patients’ internal structures.
    • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
    • Ensure that images produced are clear and meet the diagnostic requirements of the radiologist.
    • Adhere to radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and oneself from unnecessary exposure.
    • Perform regular maintenance and quality assurance checks on imaging equipment to ensure proper functionality.
    • Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis.
    • Maintain detailed records of imaging procedures, patient information, and results.
    • Provide compassionate care and support to patients throughout the imaging process.
    • Process and prepare images for review by radiologists.
    • Stay updated with advancements in radiologic technology and techniques through ongoing education and professional development.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Basic Requirements/Certifications:

    • Certification or licensure in accordance with state requirements which services are performed.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

    Education Required:

    • Completion of a full-time training course of at least 24 months in duration in a diagnostic radiology technology program evidenced by a certificate or associate degree accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or other accrediting agency recognized by the Department of Education (DOE).

    Physical Requirements:

    • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
    • Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
    • May require bending, stooping and lifting up to 15 lbs.

    Other Special Qualifications:

    • Must be a US Citizen or possess a permanent resident card.
    • Current MRPT Clearance preferred.

    Additional Information

    Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.

    Compensation Min: $89,000 Max: $151,000
