    Job Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Die Setter Level I to join our manufacturing team for the third shift in Marlette, United States. As a Die Setter Level I, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production line by setting up and adjusting dies for various manufacturing processes.

    • Set up, adjust, and change over dies on manufacturing equipment according to production schedules and specifications
    • Inspect dies for wear, damage, or defects and perform necessary maintenance or repairs
    • Collaborate with machine operators to ensure proper die installation and operation
    • Monitor die performance during production runs and make adjustments as needed
    • Maintain accurate records of die setups, changes, and maintenance activities
    • Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines in the manufacturing environment
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to die setting and equipment operation
    • Assist in training new operators on proper die setting techniques and procedures
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in die setting or related field preferred
    • Knowledge of die setting techniques and familiarity with manufacturing equipment
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
    • Basic math skills for calculating measurements and adjustments
    • Physical stamina and dexterity to handle tools and equipment
    • Understanding of manufacturing processes and safety procedures
    • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
    • Willingness and ability to work third shift hours
    • Prior experience in manufacturing or die setting is preferred but not required
    • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and supervisors
    • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Compensation
    $45,952-$45,952 per year
