Job Description

Diesel Mechanics (class A or B) maintains off-road Mack trucks and service vehicles around the mill site so our trucks can function safely and operate at top performance. Our Mechanics need to be versatile and have a working knowledge of electronic engines and be willing to lead others. Required: 2-5 years of vehicle maintenance experience

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of diesel engines (Freightliner/Mack)
• Must have their own tools
• Experience in preventative maintenance
• Diagnostic skills
• Change tires
• Order parts
• Operate the vehicles when needed
• Experience with engine maintenance; lube, oil, and filter
• Experience with electronic engines
• Familiarity with spring and air suspension systems
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems
• Familiarity with air brake systems
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of vehicle maintenance experience
• At least 18 years of age
• Able to pass all pre-employment screens
• Ability to read and understand repair manuals
• Willingness to lead self and work independently

This position is M-F 40 hours a week from 7am-3:30pm. As a full-time employee, you are eligible for all benefits, including Health, dental and vision.
