Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic/Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Inspect and test diesel engines and systems for performance and safety.
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in diesel technology.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Qualifications
- Technical certification in diesel mechanics preferred.
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or technician.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, systems, and repair techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
Salary info:
$18 - $27 / hr
