  • Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate will inspect, repair, and maintain heavy trucks, ensuring that all vehicles operate safely and efficiently. If you have strong mechanical skills and a passion for problem-solving, we want to hear from you.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy trucks and related equipment.
    • Perform repairs on vehicle engines, transmissions, steering systems, brakes, air conditioning, and electrical systems.
    • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure the longevity and performance of vehicles and equipment.
    • Replace or repair parts and components as needed.
    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company standards.
    • Complete accurate documentation for all repairs and maintenance performed.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. (Required)
    • High School Diploma or equivalent. (Required)
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic. (Required)
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform tasks that require bending, stooping, standing, and walking for extended periods. (Required)
    • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
    • Familiarity with DOT compliance and safety standards is a plus.
    • DOT Medical Card. (Preferred)

    Schedule:

    • 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
    • Weekend shifts as needed.

    Experience:

    • Diesel Mechanic: Minimum 2 years (Required)

    License/Certification:

    • Valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). (Required)
    • DOT Medical Card. (Preferred)

    Salary info:

    $26 - $33 / hr
