    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Dietary Aide to join our team in North Huntingdon, United States. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our residents receive high-quality, nutritious meals while maintaining a clean and safe dining environment.

    • Assist in the preparation and service of meals, adhering to scheduled meal times and established policies and procedures
    • Set up dining areas and trays for meal services, following food safety guidelines and dietary restrictions
    • Deliver meal carts to residents and maintain cleanliness of assigned dining areas
    • Support the cook and supervisor in food preparation tasks, following specific procedures and regulations
    • Accurately record temperatures of refrigerators and ensure proper cleaning and stocking
    • Wash and store dishes, maintaining overall sanitation and cleanliness of the kitchen
    • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient meal service
    • Demonstrate empathy and understanding towards residents' special needs
    • Adhere to federal, state, and community rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
    • Contribute to a positive and supportive dining experience for residents
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED required
    • 1 year of food service experience preferred
    • Fluency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking
    • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with residents, staff, and visitors professionally
    • Knowledge of food safety guidelines and dietary restrictions
    • Basic culinary skills and attention to detail in food preparation and service
    • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
    • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, supportive demeanor
    • Proficiency in multi-tasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment
    • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
    • ServSafe certification desirable
    • Understanding of geriatric residents' special needs
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and resident requirements
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Commitment to maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment
    • Willingness to learn and grow within the role

    Additional Information

    Shift 6AM-2PM, every other weekend, Hourly Wage: $13.00-$15.00 an hour
