Job Title: Dietary Aide (Part-Time)

Shifts: 7a-3p, 12p-8p (Rotating Weekends)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team on a part-time basis. The Dietary Aide will assist in the preparation and delivery of meals to our residents, ensuring that dietary restrictions and preferences are met. This position plays a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of our community through proper nutrition and support.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, portioning, and serving of meals according to established dietary menus.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are adhered to during food preparation and storage.
- Help set up and clean up dining areas, including tables, trays, and utensils.
- Deliver meals to residents in a timely manner and assist with feeding as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of food and beverage inventory, as well as dietary restrictions and preferences of residents.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff and dieticians to ensure proper meal planning and food delivery.
- Assist in washing dishes, kitchen equipment, and dining utensils following health procedures.
- Participate in training and ongoing education related to dietetics and food safety.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a dietary or food service role is a plus but not required.
- Basic understanding of nutrition, dietary restrictions, and food safety practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to [insert weight] and stand for extended periods.
