    [A Content Portfolio is necessary to be considered] RAEGAN HILL GROUP has been exclusively retained to find an experienced Digital Content Manager for a leading company in the medical and diagnostic laboratories industry. Our client is expanding their marketing team and is looking for a Digital Content Manager who can drive revenue growth through effective digital content strategy.

    The Digital Content Manager will play a crucial role in shaping and executing digital content strategy not just for the company’s brand but for each practice area. The Digital Content Manager will need to gain a thorough understanding of the company’s laboratory business model to effectively tailor content for a diverse audience, including medical residents, medical assistants, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

    Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will have one dotted line report, a Digital Content Coordinator, to mentor and guide as well as oversight of the efforts done by the company’s external marketing agency. This is a small but rapidly growing marketing department. As such, the Digital Content Manager must be a strategy/executer who can develop, create, manage, and optimize content across the company’s social media platforms and web pages.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Content Strategy

    • Create a content strategy that encompasses multiple digital platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Website, YouTube), to drive engagement, boost traffic and achieve key marketing objectives.
    • Create content that resonates with a diverse audience, including medical residents, medical assistants, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
    • Define target audience segments and create user personas to tailor content effectively.
    • Establish comprehensive social media guidelines and policies.
    • Create a long-term and short-term content publishing calendar and social media calendar.

    Platform and Tools Management

    • Help select and implement the best Social Media and Content Management tool(s) based on content strategy and complexity. and implement the best social media tools for engagement and analytics.

    SEO and Social Media Strategy

    • Develop and implement best practices for SEO (Search Engine Optimization), SEM (Search Engine Marketing), and SMM (Social Media Marketing).
    • Stay current with social media platforms and trends to maximize engagement.

    Analytics and Reporting

    • Manage the relationship with an external marketing agency to obtain performance reports.
    • Analyze reports to measure KPIs such as web traffic growth, social media engagement rates, and conversion rates.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to inform strategy adjustments.

    Collaboration and Communication:

    • Work closely with the Director of Marketing to present ideas supported by data and proven experience.
    • Maintain high levels of internal communication, proactively keeping stakeholders informed about project statuses, deadlines, and any issues.
    • Ensure all content aligns with the company's brand messaging and marketing goals.

    Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

    • Present and implement new and effective content ideas based on industry trends and past successes.
    • Adapt and advance in your expertise as the needs of the marketing department evolve, staying current with social media platforms, including monetization techniques and best practices for Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
    • 7+ years of experience in digital content creation and management.
    • Knowledge and/or experience in the healthcare industry is a huge plus but not required.
    • Experience in creating social media guidelines and policies documents (must have).
    • Experience managing a company’s marketing agency and their output.
    • Extensive knowledge of SEO, social media, and digital content management strategies.
    • DAM (Digital Asset Management experience.
    • Success in developing and implementing content strategies that drive user acquisition and traffic growth.
    • Brag-worthy content writing and editing skills.
    • Experience with project management software such as Monday.com.
    • Success in increasing web traffic, social media engagement, and conversion rates.
    • Experience with content management systems (CMS), Google Analytics, and social media management tools.
    • A creative mentality combined with an eye for detail and a strong passion for crafting compelling stories.
    • Content design skills: Able to work in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite. You’re not expected to be a designer, but you need to have an eye for good content design.
