Purpose of Job
|
The Digital Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the organization's digital tools, software, and systems operate seamlessly and efficiently. With a particular focus on the Microsoft 365 suite, hardware and security this position is responsible for overseeing, supporting, and optimizing various digital programs and platforms, while providing expert guidance and support to end-users. The coordinator will leverage expertise in both software and hardware management and will be well-versed in security software protection tools such as Jamf, to ensure the organization's digital infrastructure is secure, reliable, and aligned with operational goals.
Responsibilities (included but not limited to)
- Oversee the implementation, integration, and daily use of a range of digital tools, including Microsoft 365, Intercom, Jamf and other organizational software.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues proactively, and ensure that both software and hardware platforms are running smoothly and securely.
- Coordinate digital program initiatives that improve user productivity, streamline workflows, and enhance organizational efficiency.
- Evaluate and recommend digital platforms and software solutions that align with the organization's growth objectives, ensuring scalability, seamless integration, and long-term sustainability.
- Provide expertise in configuring, customizing, and deploying software solutions.
- Manage and support organizational hardware, ensuring compatibility with software applications and security standards.
- Maintain hardware inventories and ensure optimal device performance across the organization.
- Be the go-to problem solver for users facing technical challenges, providing quick and effective resolutions.
- Develop and deliver training sessions and resources for staff to effectively use software applications and hardware systems.

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Expertise in Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft 365 tools.
- Strong understanding of Apple and PC hardware, including tablet, and peripheral device management, with expertise in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Experience with Jamf or other device management software for ensuring the security of Apple and PC devices, as well as knowledge of general IT security best practices.
- Ability to quickly troubleshoot both hardware and software issues, applying critical thinking to resolve problems efficiently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Team-oriented, with experience working closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors to support organizational needs.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
- For candidates with an associate degree in IT or a related field,
or those who have completed relevant coursework, equivalent
hands-on experience in the field may be considered as a
substitute for a full bachelor's degree.
Preferred additional certifications in various software
Alpha experience is preferred

What Does Success Look Like?
- Achieve 100% compliance of all organizational computers (both Apple and PC devices) with Jamf by the end of the first quarter.
- Achieve a 90% or higher adoption rate for new digital tools or updates.
- Maintain an inventory accuracy rate of 98% or higher for hardware devices (laptops, tablets, peripherals, etc.).
- Conduct quarterly proactive system performance reviews and address potential issues before they impact users.
- Maintain a ticket resolution rate of 95% or higher, with the majority of tickets resolved within 24 hours.
