    Playback Rewards is on the hunt for a scrappy and self-motivated Digital Marketer / Growth Hacker to help us drive new players to our video game rewards platform through creative, out-of-the-box marketing projects. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you'll have the unique opportunity to experiment, iterate, and execute on impactful marketing strategies while shaping the future of how we attract and engage players.

    This role is perfect for someone who loves quick experimentation, thrives in a startup environment, and is eager to take ownership of projects with the freedom to make a big impact. You don't need years of experience—just a passion for marketing, a creative mindset, and the drive to see ideas through to completion.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to identify and execute creative strategies to acquire new players for Playback.
    • Lead special projects that scale our marketing efforts, such as:
      • Building a program to engage influencers and drive sign-ups through their audiences.
      • Testing different brand positionings for Playback through ad campaigns, including creating image and video ads.
    • Conduct quick experiments to test new marketing ideas and optimize player acquisition funnels.
    • Monitor and report on the performance of campaigns, drawing insights to improve future efforts.
    • Stay informed about trends in social media, influencer marketing, and gaming to identify new growth opportunities.

    Required Traits:

    • A strong interest in marketing and driving product growth.
    • A scrappy, “get-it-done” attitude with a love for quick iteration and problem-solving.
    • Comfortable experimenting with new ideas, even when the path forward isn't fully clear.
    • Self-motivated and resourceful, with a proven ability to take loose guidelines and turn them into actionable results.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with team members across a small startup team.

    Skills & Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree and/or internship experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
    • Experience creating or managing ad campaigns, influencer partnerships, or SEO initiatives.
    • Bonus: Proven entrepreneurial ability to grow a product or business is a plus.
    • Bonus: Familiarity with social media marketing, SEO, or influencer engagement is a plus.
