Join the Mosquito Joe team! Mosquito Joe, a local and family-owned company, is looking for Digital Marketing Assistanc for a part time position. If you’re an organized and motivated self-starter looking for a position that will offer you professional growth in a range of areas, this could be the ideal job for you.

The Digital Marketing Assistant is a seasonal position taking place during the active mosquito season, typically between March and September. Once our Mosquito Joe season is complete, stay on to be apart of our Holiday lighting team. Shifts will vary – mornings, or afternoons. The perfect candidate is a college student looking for experience, and is fluent in social media posting and Hastagging. The number of hours are 20 per week can vary depending on needs, applicant preference and availability.

What We Do:

Mosquito Joe provides services to make Outside Fun Again for our customers. We provide mosquito control services to residential and commercial customers, killing and repelling outdoor pests such as mosquitoes, ticks and fleas

Research local advertising opportunities.

Assist with home show and/or other community events.

Build calendar of community events to consider for sponsorship or participation.

Brainstorm and outreach to people or businesses to build unique partnerships, consider sponsorship or drive interest in our services. Examples may include recreation centers, event planners, restaurants with outdoor patios, golf courses, schools/daycares, etc.

Outreach to local bloggers whose readers may be interested in our services.

Build database of civic league/neighborhood associations with contact information and advertising opportunities.

Assist with distribution of rack cards or other promotional materials across key neighborhoods and businesses in the community.

Create ads to promote Mosquito Joe.

Manage Facebook account, including posting and content creation.

Other duties as assigned.
