  • Responsibilities

    The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing all social media strategies, timelines, digital content, graphics, and marketing initiatives for Summit Church. They will provide leadership and vision to a team of graphic designers and digital content creators to communicate Summit’s mission and vision to both internal and external audiences. Responsibilities: • Manage a team of graphic designers and digital content creators to communicate Summit’s mission and values and work to accomplish the goals of the Creative Director as it pertains to marketing and communication internally and externally. • Understands the Summit brand and engages in marketing through various initiatives (ex. social media boosts, google ads, billboards, and banners) and manages the ad budget for those initiatives. • Manage coordinated marketing campaigns for external and internal marketing initiatives. • Manage Summit, Chosen, and Learning Center Websites. • Assist in promoting the Learning Center’s reputation as an outstanding school for children. • Oversee all pre/post-production for digital content creation, including production timelines and provide final approval on all projects. • Produces weekly high-quality, creative videos and photos with high-quality audio, lighting, editing, and graphics. • Assist team in creating shot lists, storyboards, and asset deliverable expectations for calendared shoots. • Capture, edit, cut, and build videos and GIFs to create cohesive story 15, 30, and/or 60-second spots on social sites. • Leads the charge for capturing and sharing stories of life change happening in and through our church that highlight the story, mission, and purpose of Summit. • Capture footage of church-wide events, outreach, etc. • Maintain well-organized video and photo archive. • Stays relevant to current and emerging trends in video production, story-telling, and photography. • Responsible for overseeing all the titles, descriptions, captions, and tags for photos and videos. • Develop volunteer teams as deemed necessary to accomplish communication goals. • Report results of external ad campaigns and Google ads to senior leadership and continually monitor and track the effectiveness of Summit's own social media posts and make adjustments as necessary. • Develop the monthly social media calendar. • Oversee the digital marketing budget and expenses as well as approve payroll for employees that report to this position. Qualifications: • Understand the role of the church and can creatively tell that story and have a passion for using media to reach others. • Experience promoting a brand or organization with social media (including Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter). • Self-motivated, strong creative drive with attention to detail. • Should be able to multi-task and deal with pressures of multiple deadlines. • The ability to work collaboratively with a creative team. • Ability to manage priorities, work independently, and work well with a team. • Possess a “can do” attitude. • Organized, creative thinker, and highly productive in a fast-paced environment. • Action-oriented and displays focus, passion, and initiative. Takes appropriate action when something needs to be done. • Ability to work on weekends, holidays, and special events. • Degree in film, media, photography, or a related field; or at least 1 to 2 years experience in video and online production. • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premier Pro, and Photoshop. • Knowledge of DSLR Cameras. • Technical knowledge of all aspects of video editing, including importing content, working with a variety of compression formats, basic audio mixing, and exporting to different digital media formats. • Must have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in video production, graphic design, and storytelling. • Proven ability to take projects from beginning to end (concept to production to final edit). • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Organized and able to effectively manage time and multiple projects. • Experience in video directing, shooting, producing, and editing. • Experience taking professional-grade photos. • Proficient with social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Compensation: $48,000
