    Job Description

    Shaker Recruitment Marketing is now accepting applications for our 2025 summer internship program. Our internship program provides hands-on learning, mentorship, and networking opportunities that will help you build a strong foundation for your future career.

    We are seeking a highly organized Digital Media Intern to join our team for a 10-weeks in our Oak Park office. The intern will gain hands-on experience in various creative areas, including:

    • Assist in developing and executing digital media campaigns across various platforms.

    • Support senior team members in campaign planning, content creation, and performance tracking.

    • Conduct campaign optimization, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve effectiveness.

    • Assist in preparing metric reports and supporting Quarterly Business Review (QBR) presentations.

    • Research industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging digital media opportunities.

    • Help with digital activation quality assurance to ensure campaigns run smoothly and meet objectives.

    • Assist in basic rate estimates and budget planning for digital campaigns

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Availability to work 32 hours+/week in our Oak Park office.

    • Currently enrolled in a college or university program pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, digital marketing, communications, or a related field.

    • Familiarity with digital channels, and active usage of the platform.

    • Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel, with an ability to create presentations and reports.

    • Detail-oriented, ensuring high-quality work and accuracy in reports and presentations.

    • Eager to learn and grow in the digital marketing space.

    • Ability to think independently while also excelling in collaborative environments.

    • Strong time management, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.

    • Flexibility to adapt to changing project needs and work within deadlines.

    Duration and Schedule: The Internship program runs from June 2 – August 7 2024. This is a full-time in-person opportunity. Interns are expected to work Monday - Thursday from 8:45 am – 4:45 pm CST.
