Network Operations Technician
DigitalPath, Inc. is growing! We are hiring for a Network Operations Technician for our Chico CA location. This position is full time non-exempt position working in the office performing technical customer help desk services.

DigitalPath is a Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) providing high-speed residential and business internet service to rural areas of Northern and Central California. Our networks and technology have expanded to powerAlertWEST and AlertCA fire detection systems. Our mission is to bring a faster, more reliable service for customers that are typically outside the service areas of other internet providers.
The ideal candidate will be able to:
Program and troubleshoot issues with wireless and network equipment.
Provide technical support for our Field Technicians who are working with customers.
Maintain close communication with other department managers and directors.
Monitor the wireless and wired network to ensure efficiency.
Identify potential future capacity issues of various segments of the network.
Monitor and troubleshoot firewall and concentrators performance and the network stack (group servers).
Maintain current knowledge and skills on the latest technology trends and products - both generally and as they relate to our technology.
Recommend new solutions and technologies for implementation.
Provide escalated technical support in a timely manner for our call center teams.
Inform management of any problems and/or issues as they arise and in a timely manner, providing current status updates and resolution notes for known problems and/or issues.
Collaborate with our R&D team on upcoming and developing technologies.
Assist with training new employees.
Attend work reliably, on a regular and continuous basis.

Pay and Benefits:
Full time non-exempt position.
Schedule: On-site at our Chico, CA office 8am to 5pm Monday – Friday, with on-call assignments as necessary to respond to outages and critical service tickets.
Pay range: $23.00 to $27.00 per hour depending on experience. Most new hires will start around $23-24/hr. with a skills-based review at 6 months. Highly capable candidates may qualify for more.
