    Job Description

    The Programmatic Digital Sales Planner will play a critical role within our fast-paced ad sales team with a focus on driving revenue through a suite of programmatic products, a key component of our sales offerings across NBCU’s digital portfolio. This role will report to the Manager of Programmatic Strategic Planning, stewarding campaign execution with clients, ad tech partners, and media agencies and collaborating with key stakeholders across the NBCU organization in order to meet revenue goals. Advanced knowledge of the digital advertising landscape and ability to operate effectively at the cross-section of traditional and new media are critical to achieving success in this role.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work across internal departments (Sales, Planning, Ad Ops, Account Management, Inventory) to develop, implement, and execute programmatic campaigns across NBCU’s core digital properties and Peacock
    • Team with Programmatic Account Directors to drive advertising revenue via programmatic guaranteed and private marketplace (PMP) sales channels
    • Create media plans that achieve customer goals and maximize revenue across the NBCU portfolio
    • Manage client relationships in close partnership with sales & account management to deliver superior customer service
    • Ensure all programmatic digital campaigns are executed correctly, including (but not limited to) deal creation/set-up, collection of assets, and liaising with internal programmatic Ad Ops teams to launch, manage, and optimize campaigns
    • Lead the monitoring and reporting of deal health and campaign performance to ensure full delivery and maximize revenue potential
    • Proactively communicate campaign highlights and/or red flags to Account Director/Planning Director to enable resolution with client
    • Serve as key internal subject matter expert on everything digital programmatic
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 1 years in digital media planning or client service at entry level
    • Programmatic advertising background is a plus
    • Four year degree (B.A.,B.S) from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience

    • Must be 18 years or older

    Desired Characteristics

    • Prior digital media planning / industry experience
    • Programmatic advertising background is a plus
    • Highly analytical, strategic thinker, problem solver
    • Highly organized and strong attention to detail
    • Ability to collaborate and maintain effective working relationships within a cross-functional matrixed organization
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to work with broad range of internal and external clients
    • Excellent time management / project management skills, with ability to manage detailed work and communicate deal status effectively to all levels
    • Exceptional with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

    Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

    Salary range: $70,000-$75,000, bonus eligible
