    Job Description

    AECOM Hunt has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Digital Technology (BIM/VDC) Specialist with experience in commercial construction. This position can be located in Indianapolis, IN, Nashville, TN or Chicago, IL.

    • Works under limited supervision.
    • Provides training and technical support to design staff on the Building Information Modeling system, which provides 3D models using project specifications and content.
    • Direct project support and production to assigned projects and create the drawings as required using the standards and content to meet the job requirements (objects within the drawing, doors, lights, etc.).
    • Assists the BIM Coordination Manager with meetings, clash detection, issue reporting, and tracking log creation.
    • Assists with creating and modifying 3D models, renderings and/or animations for promotion, proposals, and logistics.
    • Manage VDC technology initiatives that have been implemented to support project goals.
    • May help to create or maintain standards, processes, and goals.
    • Manage electronic file structure on cloud based file repository.
    • Interface between Design Consultants and Subcontracted BIM Drafters.

    Minimum Requirement:

    • BS Architecture, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline and 4 years of commercial construction experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

    _ Preferred Requirements:_

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Proficient with production, interpretation, and utilization of 3D modeling techniques.
    • Working knowledge of drawing production and standard construction techniques and principles.
    • AutoCAD, Revit, and/or Navisworks expertise.
    • Knowledge of Procore.
    • Knowledge of Revit or similar BIM coordination software.
