    Position Overview:

    As a Digital and Door-to-Door Canvasser, you will play a crucial role in our voter outreach efforts, engaging with online and in-person community members. You will be responsible for providing essential information about upcoming elections, voter registration, voting locations, and other related topics. This position requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to promoting democracy.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct door-to-door canvassing to listen to and educate voters about the electoral process and potential issues

    • Engage with community members through digital platforms, including social media, texting, email, and in-person and virtual events.

    • Provide accurate information on voter registration, vote by mail, voting deadlines, and polling locations.

    • Distribute informational materials and resources physically and digitally.

    • Address questions and concerns about voting through in-person interactions and digital communication channels.

    • Record and report interactions and feedback from community members.

    • Attend training sessions to stay informed about current voting laws and procedures.

    • Represent MOSES/MOSES Action professionally and respectfully.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    • Proficiency with digital tools and social media platforms.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Comfortable walking and standing for extended periods.

    • Positive attitude and a passion for civic engagement.

    • Previous canvassing or outreach experience is a plus but not required.

    • Bilingual skills are an advantage.

    Requirements:

    • Must be at least 18 years old.

    • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation

    • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

    • Ability to attend mandatory training sessions.
