Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center located in Lewis Center, Ohio is searching for Full Time and Part Time Breakfast & Lunch Dining Room Servers to join our team!
As a Dining Room Server, your primary responsibilities revolve around the guest experience. In Food Service, there are both service and product knowledge expectations, with a significant focus on maintaining a hospitable mindset. The team serves a combination of both Food & Beverage and Hotel Operations and does so in a variety of different venues. The typical shift is 6:00AM - 3:00PM.

Essential Functions:
1. Set up equipment and items in a timely fashion to execute a successful breakfast and lunch service. Typically includes setting up a buffet, drink station, tables and preparing food and beverage service.
2. Greet, seat, and serve guests in the dining room while acting in a professional manner.
3. Anticipate and beware of guest needs before and during service in order to provide high quality service and high guest satisfaction. Continually stock and maintain items to meet the demands of the guests while adhering to all presentation standards.
4. Tear down and clean up all equipment and items used during service and return to storage to be used for the next day.
5. Follow all standards and procedures related to set up, serving, cleaning, uniforms, and proper Hospitality etiquette.
6. Perform additional duties as requested by a manager at various times in a timely fashion.
7. Operating point of sale system, collecting payment and balancing cash receipts.

1. Required to stand the duration of the shift.
2. The ability to regularly lift 55 lbs.
Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
1. Knowledge of food and beverage, etiquette and quality service standards.
2. Basic math skills.
3. High school diploma and prior experience working in customer service.
4. English language and professional communications skills are required.
5. Ability to work in a team environment
6. Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
7. Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated, and organized
