    Job Description

    A Director of IT Service Management plays a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing the IT services provided by an organization meet the needs of its users and operate efficiently. Additional focus on customer service and delivery efficiencies of the IT service portfolio. This role is vital in managing and improving a company's IT services and customer service.

    ** DUTIES:**

    • Strategic Leadership:
      • Develop and implement IT service management strategies aligned with business goals.
    • Collaboration & Communication
      • Collaborate with other senior executives to integrate IT operations with business strategies and initiatives.
      • Strong Analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex solutions and recommendations orally and written.
      • Proficient in common platforms to produce dashboards, models, and other analytical tools to communicate performance and drive direction for ideas, issues, or resolution.
    • Service Management:
      • Oversee IT service delivery, ensuring high-quality support and continuous improvement.
    • Team Management and Development:
      • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT operations team, fostering professional growth and development.
      • Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and provide feedback to team members.
      • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork and innovation.
    • Policy Development:
      • Create and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and best practices.
    • Performance Monitoring:
      • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive service excellence and operational efficiency.
    • Budget Management:
      • Plan and manage the IT budget, optimizing costs while ensuring the necessary resources are available.
    • Vendor Management:
      • Negotiate and manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective and high-quality services.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    _ Education_

    • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Advanced certifications in IT service management are a plus.
    • A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are preferred.

    _ Experience_

    • Proven experience in IT service management and operations, with a track record of leadership in a similar role.

    _ Technical Knowledge_

    • In-depth understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT).

    _ Skills_

    • Strong leadership, strategic planning, and project management skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

    _ Soft Skills_

    • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and lead cross-functional teams effectively
