JOB DETAILS Job Title: On-Call Direct Care Worker Company: ComForCare Home Care
ComForCare Home Care is seeking an experienced caregiver for a short-shift, on-call position. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and their own vehicle, as some clients may be located at a distance. Mileage reimbursement is provided when traveling between two clients scheduled back-to-back. Stand-by direct care workers will be given a time frame they will need to be available to fill shifts. We offer comprehensive support to our caregivers and truly value the important work they do.
Your role will be:
To help others and make a difference in our community

To assist the clients with daily activities to stay independent in the comfort of their home
To help with personal care
To help the clients with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises
To handle meal planning, preparation, and feeding
To assist with light housekeeping
To provide valuable companionship and respite services for the family

On-Call Pay Bonus Pay: $25 per shift for being on call (not an hourly rate) plus regular hourly rate if called into work
Pay Range: $12.00 to $13 an hour, with opportunities for career advancement
