Job Overview: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals who are registered behavior technicians. As a Direct Support RBT, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in need. This role requires a strong drive to help others and a commitment to maintaining the privacy and rights of residents.

Duties:

• Assist individuals with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders
• Provide emotional support and companionship
• Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times
• Assist with transportation to appointments or community outings
• Document and maintain accurate records of care provided
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of resident information
• Follow established systems and protocols for providing care
• Advocate for resident rights and ensure their needs are met

Qualifications:

Must be a registered behavior technician (RBT) in good standing through the BACB

• Previous experience in home care, childcare, senior care, or a related field is preferred but not required
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• High level of integrity and respect for resident privacy and rights

In addition to the job description above we are looking for the following skill set:

Experience with highly behavioral clients is preferred

ABA training preferred
