Direct Care Staff
About the Role: As a Direct Care Staff member, you’ll play a meaningful role in empowering individuals with disabilities to lead fulfilling and independent lives. Working under supportive supervision, you’ll assist with daily tasks, help maintain a safe and welcoming environment, and be part of a team that truly makes a difference.
What You’ll Do: You’ll provide a variety of supportive services, including:
Assisting clients with daily living activities to support their independence and comfort.
Helping with household chores like laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation to keep things cozy and tidy.
Providing transportation, supporting with shopping trips, and engaging clients in enjoyable activities.
Offering compassionate support with personal care and grooming.
Administering medications and documenting care as required.
Being an advocate and a positive presence in clients’ lives.
Skills and Qualities We’re Looking For: We’re excited to hear from you if you have:
An understanding of care techniques for individuals with various disabilities.
Housekeeping skills that contribute to a pleasant home environment.
Knowledge of medication administration and safe food preparation.
Great communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 18 years old with a valid Arizona driver’s license and a clean driving record for the past three years.
Able to pass a State of Arizona Department of Public Safety background check.
