In-home Services Staff (Individual Homes)
Responsibilities Staff assist clients with daily living activities in their own homes, promoting comfort, independence, and safety. Key responsibilities include:
· Assisting with personal care tasks such as hygiene, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
· Performing household tasks, including light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
· Transporting clients to appointments, running errands, or accompanying them on community outings.
· Supporting clients in self-administering medication (with proper training).
· Documenting care services provided for HAH services and reporting any changes in client health or needs.
· Fostering a positive relationship with clients to promote their well-being and independence.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· High school degree/GED required (in most cases) 18 years of age or older Valid driver's license (in most cases) Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the company Ability to handle physical aspects of the job, including bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking for periods of time
· Must maintain state regulatory certifications, as required by state/program requirements
Our minimum qualifications are that you have a combination of education, training, or experience that would allow you to perform the general duties of this position (We’ll provide specific training on more specialized tasks). You must be at least 18 years old, have a high school degree or equivalent. You also must be able to pass a State of AZ Department of Public Safety background check. Ideally, you must also be able to obtain an AZ Driver’s license.
