HOME SERVICES SPECIALIST

Serve customers and assist installation technicians. This position will assist and support our field technicians with, upgrades and repairs home for home audio and video products and services. Products and services included but not limited to all brands of TVs, Sound bars, wired/WIFI surveillance cameras, wall-fishing, coax, CAT5, smart doorbells, and smart thermostats.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following (other duties may be assigned):

• Safely and professionally assist with the installation of home service products including, but not limited to, televisions, furniture, home automation devices, and cameras.
• Maintaining a company vehicle and managing company assets if assigned.
• Lifting heavy packaging and boxes containing large devices like televisions.
• Ensure all work is done according to professional quality standards.
• Operate small hand tools and small power tools with efficiency and skill.
• Follow all company policy and procedures relevant for the assistant position.
• Adhere to all company safety procedures and maintain proper PPE requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Has an overall understanding of the work environment and process, with a working knowledge of the organization and an intermediate level of technical skills required to complete assignments
• Strong organizational and communications skills
• Must be able to work under pressure and with co-workers

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED
• One-year experience in electronics, CATV, telecommunications or related field is preferred
• Must be able to lift 65 lbs and work in tight spaces
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen & background check
• Must have valid driver's license
• Must have a basic knowledge of home construction and structure

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
