  • Responsibilities

    HCT seeks an experienced Human Resources leader to serve as the Interim Director of Compensation for a 500+ bed hospital in Illinois. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Leading the strategic planning, development, implementation, and management of compensation programs to include salary structures, incentive plans, and recognition programs.
    • Dedicated to supporting the organization through a Workday Implementation as they transition from Infor/Lawson.
    • Managing the annual compensation planning process, including merit increases, equity adjustments, and bonuses.
    • Leading and mentoring a team of compensation professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability.

    Requirements:

    • Education: Bachelor's degree required in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Masters preferred.
    • Experience: At least 8 years of experience in compensation, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, within a complex healthcare environment is strongly preferred. 
    • Certifications: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or equivalent designation preferred. 
    • Computer Skills: Demonstrated success in implementing and managing compensation systems.  Strong Workday experience is required, with the ability to understand gaps with implementation partners and lead team to ready data and test the system.
