Director - Food Manufacturing & Supply Chain
Location: Greater Los Angeles, CA (Onsite)
Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 per year
A growing multi-unit food company is seeking an onsite Director of Food Manufacturing & Supply Chain to oversee production, sourcing, logistics, and supply operations. The role is key to supporting company growth and maintaining exceptional quality and efficiency. Prior food production experience is required (not supply chain alone), and California labor law knowledge is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and scale centralized food production operations
Manage supply chain strategy, vendor partnerships, sourcing, and logistics
Oversee food safety, compliance (HACCP, FSMA, USDA, FDA), and operational audits
Implement and optimize ERP systems (experience with R365 a plus)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support innovation and efficiency
Build, mentor, and manage high-performing supply chain and production teams
Requirements:
10+ years of leadership experience in food manufacturing, restaurant supply chain, or multi-unit foodservice operations
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Food Science, or related field (MBA preferred)
Strong experience with ERP systems (experience with R365 a plus)
Proven success scaling operations in a growth-focused environment
Deep understanding of food safety protocols and compliance
Financial acumen including budget management and cost-saving initiatives
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
