    GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

    Strategic, hands-on, and experienced Director of Infrastructure, Network, and Security to lead the development, implementation, and management of our organization's IT infrastructure, network systems, and security frameworks. This individual will oversee the design and operation of network infrastructure, ensure optimal performance and security standards, and lead efforts to safeguard against internal and external threats. The Director will work closely with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with business objectives and drive continuous improvement across the IT landscape.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Direct the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s network architecture, including WAN, LAN, and wireless systems.

    • Ensure reliable, secure, high-performance network connectivity across all locations, including global offices and cloud environments.

    • Manage network security, performance, and scalability.

    • Manage network risks and make sure to mitigate them proactively.

    • Oversee the deployment of new network hardware and software solutions. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure optimal network operations and support system integrations.

    • Establish and enforce a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to protect the organization’s data, systems, and networks from threats.

    • Lead efforts and conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.

    • Identifying security threats and responding to network breaches or attacks. Implement the industry’s best practices for cybersecurity risk management and compliance.

    • Ensure the development of security policies, procedures, and protocols.

    • Create and work with incident response teams to address security breaches or risks and implement corrective actions.

    • Develop, implement, and manage disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

    • Ensure high availability and reliability of all critical IT systems and applications.

    • Oversee systems upgrades, patches, and new implementations to meet the growing needs of the business.

    • Manage and oversee network security tools (e.g., SIEM systems, endpoint protection).

    • Manage the firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPNs.

    • Collaborating with other departments, including IT, to align security practices with business needs.

    • Develop and execute long-term infrastructure, network, and security strategies to support business growth and digital transformation.

    • Stay up to date on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to ensure the organization remains competitive and secure.

     

    Experience, Education, and Certification

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.

    • 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, network, and security management.

    • 5+ years of experience in a managerial role, overseeing cross-functional teams.

    • Proven experience in infrastructure, network architecture, and cybersecurity frameworks.

    • Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools.

    • Experience in managing cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and hybrid cloud solutions.

    • Proficient in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, VPNs, and routing protocols

    • Knowledge and experience with endpoint protection, identity management, and access control protocols

    • Experience with security auditing tools.

    • Skills in using security information and event management (SIEM) systems.

    • Preferred Security Certifications: CISSP/ CISM/ CISA etc

    • Deep knowledge of security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, DDoS protection)

    • Skills in using security information and event management (SIEM) systems.

    • Must have demonstrated analytical, written, and oral communication skills.

    • Must be a team player and able to collaborate efficiently with global customer
