Lark Hospitality is searching for a Director of Data Strategy & Analytics to join our Revenue team. This position will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive business intelligence strategy that aligns with our company's goals. This role will work with all departments and outside vendors, ensuring efficient data sourcing, analysis, reporting, and visualization, and will work closely with leadership to provide actionable insights. This role will also require strength in vendor relations optimizing and standardizing IT solutions across the portfolio as well as knowledge and skills essential for device management. The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise in data warehousing, data modeling, and analytics, with a focus on Google Workplace, Google Cloud, DBT, and Python. Responsibilities: • Data Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of our data infrastructure on Google Cloud. Ensure scalability, security, and performance in data warehousing and data pipeline solutions. • Data Modeling and Transformation: Lead the development and management of data models using our current suite of technologies and partners. Ensure the creation of efficient, reusable, and well-documented data models that meet the analytical needs of the business. • Advanced Analytics and Automation: Develop and implement advanced analytics solutions, leveraging machine learning where applicable to enhance predictive analytics and decision-making. • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights. Serve as a trusted partner to the executive team in making data-driven decisions. • Data Governance and Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure the accuracy, privacy, and security of all data assets. Implement processes for continuous monitoring and improvement of data quality. • Vendor Relations: Creating and monitoring standardized IT solutions across the portfolio while partnering with key vendors for optimal solutions. • Device Management: Leading support for all technological device requirements across the portfolio. • System Management: Administrative management of IT systems Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. • 2+ years’ experience in business intelligence or data analytics. • 2+ years’ experience working with Google Cloud (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, etc.). • Strong expertise in DBT (Data Build Tool) for data modeling and transformation. Preferred Qualifications: • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data deployment. • Experience with machine learning techniques and their application in business intelligence. • Experience with other cloud platforms or data analytics tools is a plus. Compensation: $115,000 annually
