    Key Responsibilities

    The Director of Engineering must be aware of and comply with all procedures and work instructions pertaining to this position. The essential functions of this position are:

    A. Develop strategic planning, direction, and control of product development activities.

    B. Provide technical direction, guidance, and hands-on project management for all product development.

    C. Ensure the optimal application of technology and engineering resources to meet product development and/or customer requirements, per the product and/or marketing requirements.

    D. Create designs and drafts using Solidworks, Esprit programs for Wire EDM machines, and CNC programs from Anilam Offline Software.

    E. Ensure that the product is fully and correctly defined and documented.

    F. Ensure implementation of formal processes to support the product development process.

    G. Manage a drawing system by organizing and keeping records of revision levels in accordance with the requirements of ISO 13485:2016.

    H. Ability to manufacture parts as needed while working closely with the Managing Partners.

    I. Assemble, test, and fine-tune new machinery to work out any new kinks and ensure that it is functioning at the proper capacity.

    J. Applying good ergonomics that will make a product or machinery easy to use helps make a manufacturing process efficient and contributes to safety.

    K. Ability to be flexible with projects and workflow.

    L. Ability to be hands-on and work with small pieces and very tight tolerances.

    Background Requirements

    High school diploma (or equivalent).

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

    Experience in the Manufacturing atmosphere.

    Hours/Schedule:

    Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

    Paid Breaks

    9:00 AM (10 Minutes)

    2:00 PM (10 Minutes)

    Lunch Break - Unpaid

    12:00 PM (30 Minutes)

    Pay Range

    $28 - $32 Per Hour

    Overtime is paid at a rate of 1.5x.

    Overtime is available depending on projects and workflow.
