Exciting opportunity to join our beautiful hotel which just completed a major renovation. Join the Doubletree by Hilton Charlotte City Center as our Director of Food & Beverage. The goal of a food and beverage director is to maximize performance, minimize costs, increase revenue, and achieve customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: • Create menus that meet the needs of the target audience and help turn a profit • Ensure that the kitchen maintains high standards for food preparation, presentation, and service • Hire, train, schedule, and motivate a team of chefs, servers, bartenders, and other kitchen staff • Track and manage food and labor costs, and monitor food and beverage budgets • Set the stage for customers' food and drink experience • Implement and maintain local and national sales and marketing programs • Help clients arrange banquets, luncheons, meetings, weddings, dances, and other social functions • Maintain internal controls and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance Qualifications: • Prior food & beverage leadership experience • Hotel food & beverage experience preferred
