You will be responsible for designing our sales strategy and revenue targets, training and evaluating our sales personnel, and ensuring that we generate new and recurring business through various areas of revenue. Responsibilities: • Formulate sales strategies that sustain high levels of occupancy and profitability in collaboration with department managers and their goals • Evaluate information gathered from market data and create a plan to meet design marketing deliverables, hotel financial goals, and create an annual sales forecast • Establish strategies to assist the sales team in meeting and exceeding monthly room booking goals that are aligned with overall hotel and revenue management objectives • Solicit new guests with targeted outbound sales initiatives, such as personal calls to your network and phone solicitations to local professionals, travel agencies, and other groups that will generate new revenue • Report on sales activities for the previous and future weeks in meetings with department leaders, and prepare a monthly expense report for all hotel sales-related expenditures Qualifications: • Displays a proven track record of sales success by lead-generation and closing • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required • 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality field, is required • Must be able to use basic computer software including Microsoft Office • We prefer someone with prior hospitality experience but is not required Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 yearly
