You will be in charge of developing our sales strategy and revenue objectives, training and assessing our sales employees, and ensuring that we create new and recurring business across various hotel sectors. Responsibilities: • Report on sales activities for the previous and future weeks in meetings with department leaders, and prepare a monthly expense report for all hotel sales-related expenditures • Evaluate information gathered from market data and create a plan to meet design marketing deliverables, hotel financial goals, and create an annual sales forecast • Establish strategies to assist the sales team in meeting and exceeding monthly room booking goals that are aligned with overall hotel and revenue management objectives • Generate new revenue by using a targeted outbound sales strategy that includes personal calls in your network, phone solicitation to local professionals, travel agencies, and other groups or corporations • Develop and implement sales strategies that maintain high levels of occupancy and profitability through coordination with department managers Qualifications: • Proven track record of sales success in lead-generation and closing skills • This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field • We prefer someone with prior hospitality experience but is not required • Excellent leadership skills, analytical skills, and communication skills • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Compensation: $75,000
