You will be responsible for designing our sales strategy and revenue targets, training and evaluating our sales personnel, and ensuring that we generate new and recurring business through various areas of revenue. Responsibilities: • Report on sales activities for the previous and future weeks in meetings with department leaders, and prepare a monthly expense report for all hotel sales-related expenditures • Coordination with the management team and department heads in designing and implementing sales strategies to achieve high occupancy and profitability • Evaluate information gathered from market data and create a plan to meet design marketing deliverables, hotel financial goals, and create an annual sales forecast • Generate new revenue by using a targeted outbound sales strategy that includes personal calls in your network, phone solicitation to local professionals, travel agencies, and other groups or corporations • Implement a strategic plan that aligns with revenue management and hotel objectives to assist the sales staff in meeting and exceeding room booking goals Qualifications: • Must have relevant experience of 5+ years as a sales professional, preferably in the hospitality field • Must be able to use basic computer software including Microsoft Office • Exemplary communication skills, leadership skills, and analytical skills Compensation: $50,000 - $75,000
