We specialize in contents packouts, storage, and restoration services for residential and commercial clients, ensuring safe and efficient handling of belongings in disaster recovery situations. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our Packout and Contents Restoration company which now has two locations. The main headquarters is in Pompano Beach (you will report to Pompano) and our other locations are in Lakeland. The General Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, manage team performance, and ensure that all packout, storage, and restoration projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Will also be responsible for hiring, recruiting, and all positions including the sales team. This role requires someone with proven leadership in the restoration industry and the ability to manage large-scale projects and teams effectively. You will be expected to travel from time to time to help manage other locations and contribute to conferences and other networking events. $85,000 - $95,000 Plus Bonuses and other incentives. Responsibilities: • Operational Leadership : Oversee all aspects of packout, restoration, and storage operations, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of projects from start to finish. • Team Management : Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers, technicians, and support staff. Ensure that all employees meet productivity goals and adhere to safety and quality standards. • Project Management : Coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Work closely with insurance adjusters, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project workflows. • Client Relations : Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, managing expectations, and addressing any concerns that arise during the project. • Budgeting and Financial Oversight : Manage budgets, project costing, and resource allocation. Ensure financial goals are met and monitor profitability of the division. • Business Development : Work to identify growth opportunities, improve operational efficiencies, and expand the company’s market presence within the restoration industry. • Compliance and Safety : Ensure that all projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA and safety protocols. Maintain a focus on workplace safety and regulatory compliance at all times. • Vendor and Partner Management : Collaborate with external vendors, suppliers, and partners to maintain a reliable network for materials and services related to packouts and restorations. Qualifications: • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a managerial role within the restoration, construction, or disaster recovery industry. • Must have experience with Xactimate Software and other related project management software. • Proven ability to manage large teams and multiple, complex projects simultaneously. • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. • In-depth understanding of packout processes, contents management, and restoration techniques (preferred). • Experience working with insurance adjusters and understanding insurance claims processes (preferred). • Solid financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis. • Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards (OSHA compliance, etc.). • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. • Ability to travel to different job sites across the state as needed.
