We’re in search of someone with experience managing the front desk and housekeeping departments of a hotel for our next Director of Rooms. You need to be a proven leader with a track record of supervising teams, resolving customer issues, and providing nothing less than a five-star service experience to all of our hotel guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for giving great customer service and will also be committed to keeping the hotel profitable by overseeing costs and keeping quality standards high. Three or more years of experience in the hospitality industry is required, preferably in guest services or housekeeping. Responsibilities: • Provide outstanding service to customers at all times and ensure that other staff and teams do the same • Oversee the daily operations and staff of housekeeping and front office departments • Closely monitor staff in charge of providing guest services to make certain that all customers are given prompt attention to their requirements • Develop long-term strategic plans for their division to meet company goals and maintain profitability • Utilize metrics for job quality, productivity, customer satisfaction, and absenteeism to track staff performance Qualifications: • Possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills • Must possess excellent leadership, organizing, and customer service skills • This position requires a high school diploma or GED • This position requires hospitality or guest service experience • 3 or more years of experience as a housekeeping manager, front desk supervisor, or similar role
