The Poconos VRO is seeking a dynamic Director of Sales & Marketing to join our not-for-profit trade association. This role combines administrative expertise, marketing skills, and member engagement to expand and support our growing membership base. Job Overview As the Director of Sales & Marketing, you’ll collaborate with the Executive Director and volunteer board members to deliver exceptional member services, drive membership growth, and contribute to the overall development of Poconos VRO. Your focus will be on increasing membership, managing databases, and coordinating outreach efforts to enhance the visibility and impact of our association. • Hybrid role, mostly remote but has to be around the Poconos area for occasional in-person reporting. Compensation • Base Salary: $52,000 - $56,000 • Paid Time Off Responsibilities: • Increase the size and detail of the membership database through data entry and data mining. • Request lists of license holders from approximately 80 municipal governments, create summary totals, and compile reports in member forums of the association website. • Support the growth of membership lists for newsletters, outreach, and advocacy alerts. • Track member listings on all STR platforms. • Work with Affiliate Members (corporate sponsors) to match their service offerings with the needs of members. • Support tourist information data collection with the Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau and aid in their publications and research activity. • Work with the Executive Director and community liaisons from STR organizations to support advocacy alerts, research reports, and publicity efforts. • Manage communications in the form of website updates, newsletters, email advocacy alerts, and social media postings. • Coordinate volunteers' needs for HOA board meetings, township meetings, and meetings with elected officials. • Coordinate supplies needed for trade shows, conferences, and smaller networking events. Qualifications: • Education : Associate degree preferred; relevant experience considered. • Experience : Minimum 1+ years in lead generation or inside sales (preferred). • Skills : Proficient in Internet research, database management, and CRM systems. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities. • Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with real estate or STR markets is a plus. Compensation: $50,000 - $56,000 Base Salary
