East End Studios Studios is looking for a Director, Sales. This seasoned sales executive with television, feature film, commercial production, and/or post-production knowledge will identify and close sales opportunities for stage rentals, production office rentals and production services and assures studio accounts are maintained with a high level of client satisfaction.
This role will be based at EES Griffith.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate and prioritize sales opportunities. Manage sales pipeline.
Manage sales staff for all studios. Set performance goals, manage performance, and provide guidance and support.
In conjunction with Finance, manage the monthly and quarterly revenue forecast. Be knowledgeable of all tenants, operations, or other actions that directly impact the forecast and assure those impacts are reflected in the finance guidance timetable.
Lead efforts to find additional revenue sources or other actions to counter an unfavorable variance if revenue is not meeting budget.
Lead negotiations for prices and terms for major clients and review price and term for deals handled by sales staff.
Coordinate effectively with the Legal department and Finance on major deals. Assure the appropriate resources, including outside real estate counsel, are reviewing, and approving major deals.
Lead annual and long- term sales strategy including clear understanding of marketplace, our competitive position, revenue growth
Actively participate in marketing strategies and priorities that support sales.
Focus on outbound sales by developing an outreach program to media decision makers including producers, line producers and entertainment executives responsible for the selection of stages and production offices.
Manage studio level marketing, branding, and client events. Manage team to ensure strong coordination with EES Marketing.
Build strong relationships with existing clients and establish a high renewal rate.
Prepare and present to management the annual revenue budget.
Manage client relationships and ensure operations follows up to resolve client issues.
Manage key sales reports including sales forecasts and pipelines. Prepare bi-weekly occupancy report for EES management.
Coordinate and process contracts, agreements, and all other paperwork associated with completing the sales process including insurance, security deposits, and credit checks. Assure process consistency.
Notify Legal of client lease and license extensions and amendments. Maintain expiration report, coordinate moves in and out with operations.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Minimum 10 years of sales experience with emphasis on business planning and account management.
Seasoned sales executive with television, feature film and/or commercial production and/or post-production knowledge
Excellent knowledge of and working relationships in the television and film industrys.
Experience with P&L management required.
In depth experience with Salesforce preferred.
