As the Director of Team Resources, you’ll be a key part of our leadership team, playing an essential role in shaping the future of our organization. In this role, you will lead all Human Resource (HR) functions for a growing faith-based, family-founded, family-operated business that values its employees as its greatest asset. You’ll have the opportunity to enhance our culture, drive engagement, and ensure our teams have the resources they need to thrive. With more than 200 employees across six locations in two states, you’ll lead a dedicated HR team and work closely with leadership to align people strategies with business goals—all from our main location in Elkhorn, WI.

Lead a Passionate Team – You’ll manage and mentor a team of HR professionals, fostering their growth while ensuring the HR function operates efficiently and effectively.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee comprehensive compensation strategies that drive performance, retention, and employee satisfaction.
Define, execute, and lead employee engagement initiatives and events to strengthen company culture across all locations, ensuring a consistent and positive employee experience.
Design and execute strategic internal communications to keep our team informed, connected, and aligned.
Spearhead the company’s talent acquisition and retention efforts, ensuring we attract and develop the best talent in the industry.
Champion training and development programs that help employees grow and advance within Adams.
Provide guidance to managers on performance reviews, employee development, and leadership coaching.
Oversee company-wide safety programs, ensuring compliance and best practices in training and workplace procedures.
Ensure the company remains legally compliant, staying ahead of HR policies, labor laws, and industry regulations.
What You Bring to the Table:

What We’re Looking For:
Education & Certification:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
PHR or SHRM Certification (preferred).
Experience:
Minimum 5 years in HR leadership, ideally within construction, trades, or a similar hands-on industry.
Experience overseeing HR operations for 200+ employees across multiple locations.
Strong understanding of HR compliance, employee relations, change management and organizational development.
