An award winning biotechnology research company in Frederick, MD is hiring for a Director of Accounting to join their growing team. This is a key hire that will assist in SEC regulation compliance, clinical accruals, and help own the entire lifecycle of the accounting process. The Director of Accounting will manage two direct reports. 

This role is hybrid onsite 2x days a week in Frederick, MD 

Required:

• 5+ years of professional experience in accounting
• Industry experience in biotechnology research, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or a  parallel domain
• Experience in "clinical accruals"

Nice to have:

• CPA designation
• Prior public accounting experience
