    MVP Recruitment is excited to partner with a privately owned, 120-bed skilled nursing facility in the Lexington/Waltham area to find a dedicated and experienced Director of Admissions. This well-established facility is known for its high-quality care and strong community connections.

    Position Overview:

    As the Director of Admissions, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth and efficient admissions process for residents. This position is 90% internal, focusing on managing authorizations for coverage with HMO’s, Medicare, and Medicaid. You will also serve as the key liaison with case managers at nearby hospitals, including Mt. Auburn, Newton-Wellesley, and Beth Israel-Lahey.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage and oversee the admissions process, ensuring all required documentation and approvals are obtained.

    • Coordinate authorizations for insurance coverage, including HMO’s, Medicare, and Medicaid.

    • Communicate and collaborate with case managers at partner hospitals to streamline referrals and transitions.

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of admissions and resident information.

    • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a seamless transition for new residents.

    • Foster positive relationships with hospitals, families, and residents to enhance the admissions experience.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in admissions or case management in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting is required.

    • Strong knowledge of HMO’s, Medicare, and Medicaid authorizations.

    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

    • Ability to work collaboratively with hospital case managers and internal teams.

    • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.
