    Position Overview: The Director of Behavioral Health will lead the Behavioral Health department, and manage the delivery of high-quality therapeutic services to clients. This role involves program development, staff supervision, and ensuring compliance with HEAL’s mission and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Behavioral Health, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to promoting mental health and well-being in the community.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Program Leadership: Develop, implement, and evaluate Behavioral Health programs and services that meet the needs of clients and align with HEAL’s goals.

    Staff Management: Supervise, mentor, and support a team of licensed clinical social workers and other staff, fostering a collaborative and effective work environment.

    Clinical Oversight: Ensure the delivery of evidence-based practices in therapy and case management, providing guidance and support to staff in clinical decision-making.

    Compliance and Quality Assurance: Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as organizational policies, to maintain high standards of care.

    Budget Management: Oversee departmental budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources while meeting program objectives.

    Community Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with community organizations, and patients, to promote services and address community needs.

    Professional Development: Facilitate ongoing training and development opportunities for staff to enhance clinical skills and professional growth.

    Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze data on program outcomes and client satisfaction, preparing reports for stakeholders and funding agencies.

    Qualifications:

    Master’s degree in social work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

    Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

    Minimum of 3 years of behavioral Health/clinical social work experience, with 3 years in a leadership role preferred.

    Strong knowledge of mental health practices, regulations, and ethical guidelines.

    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead a diverse team.

    Preferred Skills:

    Familiarity with electronic health record (ECW) systems.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
