Director of Behavioral Health & Substance Abuse (LCADC+LPC/LAC/LCSW)
Community Psychiatric Institute, a leader in Behavioral Healthcare and Chemical Dependency treatment for over 53 years, is seeking an innovative & dedicated individual for the position of Director of Behavioral Health & Substance Abuse in our adult psychiatric Partial Care, IOP and O.P. treatment programs.

HOURS: Full-time
Requirements:
LCADC, LPC, LSW, LCSW or equivalent license required.
Minimum 5 years progressive clinical experience with mental health, substance abuse and co-occurring populations.
Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.
Preferred - in addition to above:
CCS
Clinical Supervision Certificate
SIFI
Job Responsibilities:
Provide clinical program coordination and development including:
Ensure regulatory compliance with established program standards including state and federal mandates.
Responsible for oversight and management of clinical team including compliance with required documentation standards, staff productivity and program accountability for clinical services.
Provide ongoing support to clinical staff to ensure excellence in delivery of services and completion of all job responsibilities.
Assist with continued development & oversight of Partial Care, IOP & Outpatient clinical programs day to day operations ensuring the highest of standards.
Assist in program development & expansion through integration of evidence-based practices while addressing innovative trends in mental health care.
Ensure staff compliance with all organization policies and procedures.
Ensuring compliance of DAS initiatives including SAI and Drug Court.
Provide ongoing supervision and training of clinical staff and student interns.
Management of client services to ensure quality of care and optimal treatment outcomes.
Provide orientation, education and ongoing evaluation of clinical staff.
Maintain positive relationships with community partners, referral sources and other professionals.
Provide ongoing collaboration with various healthcare and legal systems.
Work closely with administrative and medical staff to ensure a successful and quality program.
May carry a small clinical caseload as assigned.

Ability to develop, foster and sustain relationships with outside agencies to enhance referral development.
Ability to learn and efficiently use electronic health record.
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to supervise clinical staff per State requirements.
Excellent strategic planning and program development skills.
Ability to facilitate both individual & group sessions as required.
Proficient at using technology in day-to-day operations.
Must be goal-driven, organized, and efficient in all aspects of work.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to change, and effectively navigate crisis situations.
Knowledge, understanding and experience with the prior authorization process from insurance companies including the ability to navigate the necessary documentation and communication with providers and payers to ensure patient access to care.
