The ideal candidate will have cleaning, restoration industry, or insurance industry sales experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
Create an annual business plan with specific goals that align with overall annual company objectives and growth initiatives.
Develop annual marketing budget – provide quarterly updates to business owner and GM.
Oversee the day-to-day management of the Marketing, Business Development, & Customer Service Teams.
Oversee all social media and online marketing activities, including managing online reviews and working to address any negative feedback received.
Work with the sales team to build relationships with large local, regional, and national commercial accounts, centers of influence (COIs), and large-loss adjusters to ensure client satisfaction and additional business opportunities.
Actively support the continued professional development of the Marketing Team through regular coaching/mentoring and team calling opportunities.
Actively participate as a senior management presence in local large loss events – helping coordinate communication with key stakeholders and decision makers.
Regular reporting and updating to the owner and GM, as needed, or required.
Work with other company division managers to ensure an exceptional customer experience across the entire operation.
Actively participate in Franchise Advisory Board and Executive Team meetings.
Assist HR Manager with recruiting, hiring, training, and retaining existing Marketing Team employees.
Help determine and oversee the planning of all significant franchise marketing activities and large-scale networking events; including reviewing and approving sponsorships, networking affiliations, client entertainment, CE events, etc.
Manage the Marketing Coordinator and assist with preparing and reviewing various quarterly tracking and reporting spreadsheets using Excel, Google Sheets, Salesforce, and WorkCenter.
Confirm with Accounts Payable Department that all individual expense reports are turned in and documented properly each month.
Necessary Experience and Skill Set:
Effective written and oral communication
Intermediate math skills – familiar with creating and using MS Excel and Google Sheets
5+ years sales or marketing management experience, restoration industry experience a huge plus
Proficient computer skills and comfort level with learning technology
Excellent leadership, coaching, and problem-solving skills
Knowledgeable at job costing, tracking ROI, and basic accounting
Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements:
This is a full-time salaried position working varying hours as needed between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday–Friday, 45 hours per week minimum. This position will require occasional working after hours attending area networking events and also in the company on-call rotation (1-2X per quarter) and weekend work as needed responding to large client emergency events. Travel is primarily local during the business day; however, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected for client presentations, area meetings, training, tradeshows, and annual company convention.
