    Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Business Development to lead our sales teams in Eastern Washington (based in the Tri-Cities) and Western Washington (based in Puyallup). This role is responsible for driving the promotion and sales of mitigation and reconstruction services within assigned territories, meeting or exceeding sales goals, and growing our commercial customer base. The Director will utilize a systematic business development process to identify new prospects, cultivate relationships, and leverage marketing tools such as SERVPRO® Emergency Ready Plans, and national relationships to deliver exceptional results.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Sales Leadership & Performance:

    Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas by executing the full sales cycle, including setting up closing appointments, maintaining commercial contact lists, and actively participating in professional associations.

    Drive consistent growth by promoting and selling SERVPRO® mitigation and reconstruction services to commercial clients in assigned territories.

    Team Leadership & Strategy Implementation:

    Set clear team goals and objectives aligned with the company’s overall strategy.

    Lead the planning and execution of sales strategies to achieve business growth and sales targets.

    Ensure the sales team adapts to evolving market conditions, aligning tactics with the company’s strategic direction.

    Conduct weekly team and one on one meetings.

    Business Development:

    Identify and cultivate new commercial prospects using a systematic approach to relationship-building.

    Leverage marketing materials and tools (e.g., SERVPRO® Key Differentiators, Emergency Ready Plan, national sponsorships) to effectively market and sell mitigation and reconstruction services.

    Qualifications:

    Proven experience in sales leadership, business development, or a related field, preferably in the mitigation and reconstruction services industry.

    Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing a commercial customer base.

    Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide sales teams across multiple locations.

    Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

    Familiarity with the Eastern and Western Washington markets (Tri-Cities and Puyallup areas) is a plus.

    Ability to travel between Tri-Cities and Puyallup as needed.

    Other compensation includes:

    Base + Commission: This position offers a base salary as well as a Commission Incentive

    1. Self-Performed Mitigation Services: Earn a 2% commission on the gross revenue.

    2. Subcontracted Mitigation Services: Receive a 1% commission on the gross revenue, provided there's a minimum markup of 20% on these services.

    3. Reconstruction Services: Get a 1% commission on the gross revenue.
