Job Title: Director of Business Operations
Location: Southampton, NY
Compensation:
$140-160k base salary plus bonus of 10-20%, Health, Dental, Vision insurance, vehicle, 401k match of 4%, PTO, Cell, Laptop and additional perks. Relocation is available.
Position Overview:
BraveView has been engaged by a high end residential landscape services business that has been servicing the local market for a number of years.
They seek a dynamic Director of Business Operations to help lead the team to support revenue growth, operational excellence and a high quality customer experience.
This key leadership position will facilitate collaboration between all departments, ensuring smooth communication and implementation of strategic initiatives across the business. The goal is to position the company for future growth while maintaining or improving the level of services that these high end residential clients demand.
Key Responsibilities:
• Leadership: Serve as the primary point person for organizational change, guiding and motivating the office staff while closely partnering with the Director of Field Operations to enhance overall business performance.
• Strategic Initiatives: Lead business initiatives, conduct monthly financial reviews, and ensure a comprehensive understanding of financial metrics to drive informed decision-making.
• Change Management: Champion change initiatives within the organization, managing implementation, messaging, and accountability among team members to overcome business obstacles.
• Operational Collaboration: Work synergistically with the Director of Field Operations to refine scheduling, headcount management, equipment utilization, and overall capacity planning.
• Customer Engagement: Uphold and enhance customer service standards, representing the Peconic LTC brand effectively in all client interactions across various communication channels.
• Staff Management: Oversee office staff operations, fostering a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation and accountability.
• Technology Utilization: Understand and leverage the Aspire system for reporting and performance measurement to maximize value for the business.
• Fleet Management Support: Provide insights and assistance in managing fleet operations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Succession Planning: Prepare to assume the responsibilities of General Manager or Assistant General Manager as the business evolves, ensuring a smooth leadership transition.
• Talent Acquisition: Expand talent recruitment efforts in the East Hampton area and throughout Long Island to strengthen the team and drive future business growth.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a proven track record in managing residential landscape business operations, and an ability to foster relationships that promote teamwork and accountability. A deep understanding of financial management, strategic planning, and customer service is essential.
